Help with OneClickdigital

How do I create an Account?

To  create an account, go to the OneClickdigital website. Select the “Register” link in the upper right-hand side of the screen. Fill in the account verification information requested by your library. Passwords must be at least 4 characters long and can contain both numbers and letters. Passwords are case sensitive, usernames are not.

Can I change my email address?

Yes. You can change your email address on the My Profile page. You can get to the My Profile page by clicking the “User Menu” link on the left side of the OneClickdigital website and then clicking on “My Account”. Then click on the “edit” link next to “Email Address”.

Can I use my email address for more than one account?

Your email address cannot be used by other users within the same library; however, if you are creating an account in another library, you can use the same email address.

Do I need a library card number to checkout a title?

Solomon Wright Public Library patrons: Your library card number is the same as the barcode on the back of your library card.

Select your own password when creating your account as long as it is at least 4 characters long.

Is there a way to search for available titles?

Click on the “Advanced Search” link in the Browse Menu and choose to only search by available titles as well as any other criteria. Choose “All Availability” and then select “Available”. You can also use the Quick Search option to search titles first based on keyword, Title, Author, and Narrator. Then these results can be further refined by clicking the “Refine Results” button on the far left of the screen, selecting “All Availability”, then selecting “Available”.

How do I search for only e-audio or e-books?

There are several ways to search for your desired format.

  1. Click the “Browse” link and select the format you would like to download.
  2. After performing a search, click on “Refine Search” option and select the format you would like to download.
  3. Click the “Browse” link and select “Advanced Search.” Then you can select your desired format from the “All Format” option.

What is the difference between Abridged and Unabridged OneClickdigital content?

An abridgment is a shortened version of the original title. In other words, content has been removed. Unabridged titles have not been shortened. A majority of titles available through OneClickdigital are unabridged.

Why can’t I see the file type before I download?

The file type you receive is based on your preferences. We have all media formats available.

Can I renew a title?

You can renew a title by following these steps:

  1. Click on Browse
  2. Click on My Titles
  3. Click on the date shown under the name of the title you wish to Renew.
  4. Please keep in mind that the renew time will not be added to the checkout time. We recommend renewing the title the day before the title expires to ensure that you are given extra time to listen to the title.

What is a Wishlist and how does it work?

The Wishlist is a tool that allows you to keep track of titles that you may wish to listen to or reference at a later date. If the Wishlist option is not available to you, it is because your library has declined to use this tool. To add titles to the Wishlist click the “Add to Wishlist” button on the title details page.

Why is there a hold button?

A title will display the Hold button when another patron has the title checked out. The Hold button may also be displayed if you have reached your maximum number of checkouts allowed. In rare instances, if you library allows you to see titles that are not owned, the Hold button will also be displayed.

How do I put a title on Hold?

To place a title on hold, go to the title detail page and click the “Hold” button. A success message will be displayed along with your place in line. For your convenience, OneClickdigital will automatically checkout the title to your account. An email stating the title is available for download will be sent to the email address you have on file. When you receive the email you can look in your “My Titles/Checked Out” items to download your selection.

How do I remove a title from my Hold list?

Titles can be cancelled from a hold on the “My Titles/Holds” list. Simply click on the “X” button found above the title image.

Where can I see my checked out titles on the Website?

Your checked out titles are displayed on the “My Titles” page under “Checked Out”. If you do not see all your titles, click the “See More” in the far right of the “Checked Out” line.

How do I find my Checkout History?

The titles you have previously checked out can be found on ‘My Title’ page under the ‘History” section which will show you the last 4 titles. To see your entire History click the ‘View all” link for the far right of the ‘History’ line.

How do I rate a title?

To Rate a title go to the ‘My Title’ page and look under ‘History’. Titles will have 5 gray stars under the image, click on the star for the rating you would like to assign it.

When will my title expire?

Titles will expire from the checkout list on their due date at the exact time they were checked out. For example if a title was checked out at 2:00 pm for 7 days it will expire on the 7th day at 2:00 pm.

Are titles from OneClickdigital kept on my computer?

Titles will be removed from your computer when the title reaches expiration or is returned by the patron.

How many computers and/or devices can I use with my OneClickdigital content?

OneClickdigital can be used on as many computers as you would like, but titles downloaded to specific computers stay on that PC. A title can be downloaded multiple times but only transferred to two different devices.

Can I transfer to my Android device?

An application for Android devices with Android operating system 2.2 Froyo or later is now available in the Google Play store. An account with your library’s OneClickdigital website and a Google account are required to access the application and use the service. Data usage fees may apply – please check with your carrier.

Can I transfer directly to my iPhone / iPad / iPod Touch?

An iOS application is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch through the App Store. An account with your library’s OneClickdigital website and an iTunes account are required to access the application and use the service. Data usage fees may apply – please check with your carrier.

Can I transfer directly to my Kindle Fire?

An application for Kindle Fire for audiobooks is available through the Amazon App Store. An account with your library’s OneClickdigital website and an Amazon account are required to access the application and use the service.

Will the OneClickdigital website work with browser zoom?

Yes, however there may be some loss of functionality if controls or information overflows the display.
